So often I am amazed at the cycle of life. You spend so much time growing up and thinking that that is taking forever. Then out of no where you realize you are the grown-up version of you. You take on the appearence of an adult but inside you can sink into that little person who has so many needs.

You move from being a child to being a person who watches children become adults.

Very well put. That set my head spinning. It's like being on a conveyor belt watching the world go by; the force of time. You can't stop it. I reached back into my mind and tried to pinpoint the time at which this happpened. I had a really hard time with it until I remembered working on the youth staff at church back in 1999. I think that was when I turned into an adult... looking at the kids that occupied the space I had occupied only 6 years earlier.

It felt so near, yet it was really so very far. Now, it's hopeless to reach back. Young at heart? Yes. Young? No.
