i like the new look!
Hey Mindy–the new look is so cool–how come you switched over, though? Was it just for aesthetic reasons or is it for security reasons too? Just wondering.
I switched Mindy over to WordPress away from MovableType because it gives her added control over changing the site and creating new pages. As well as a nice way to integrate images into the site. We are going to add her artwork in place of the pictures you see on the site now. But for now this is so she can start getting used to posting and editing in the new format. And actually yes, security was a part of it. The old system needed to be rebuilt anyway. So it was time for a change. We could of kept the same look of the site, but Mindy said she was ready to change it and include more of her artwork. So hopefully, we get that done soon! I do miss the flower on the old site though. But she has some really cool stuff that she can include on this one.
